The Idaho Lottery
The Idaho Lottery was created in 1989 and has since been one of the biggest contributors to state wide projects such as education and development projects. The first Idaho lottery ticket went on sale on July 19, 1989. With over 840,000 in tickets sales on their first day throughout the state, the Idaho Lottery quickly became a favourite among customers.
During their first year of operations the Idaho lottery sold over $65 million in tickets and were able to return over $17,225,000 to the fund “People of the State of Idaho”.
School funding is one of the company’s largest projects and most recently they started a new Scratch for schools charity program. Participating schools pick two students who have 5 min to scratch as many tickets as they can. All prizes won during the 5 min will be donated from Idaho lottery to school. Since this program started the lottery has given over $100,000 to local schools.
The Idaho Lottery provides online lottery games and scratch tickets along with pull tab machines. Since they first opened they have developed over 300,000 various scratch games. The state has also seen a jackpot winner in the state-wide Powerball game.
Idaho Hot Lotto
Hot Lotto is a multi state game. This means tickets are available to be purchased in states besides Idaho. This is what allows the jackpots to grow to very large prize pools. The jackpot starts at a million dollars and grows until a player matches all 6 numbers on their hot Lotto ticket.

Wild Card 2 is another multi-state lottery, but it is limited to Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. The Wild Card 2 provides you with multiple ways to win. Match three, four or five numbers to redeem your ticket as a winner. The Wild Card also wins if you match it, and if you match your numbers along with this Wild Card, your prize will be a lot bigger. The jackpots grow weekly if there hasn’t been a winne,r which means if you can match all 5 numbers and the Wild Card you could be looking at a payday of $150,000+.
Pick 3 was first introduced to the Idaho Lottery online games in June of 2000. It's one of the most popular online game the state offers. The Pick 3 is also one of the easiest games since you are only choose three numbers between 1 thru 9, either preselected or randomly. You can choose up to five plays with each game only costing a $1.
