The North Dakota LotteryAll About the North Dakota LotteryThe North Dakota Lottery was created in November 2002 although it took nearly ten years to get it approved. From 1984 till 2002 the bill to allow a Lottery for the people of the state was put on the back burner nearly half a dozen times. As of today all revenue generated by the North Dakota Lottery has passed onto the State General Fund to aid in public education with the attorney general overseeing how these funds are distributed. North Dakota Lottery offers four online games and various scratch tickets which are sold at all 400+ lottery retailers. The online games include the Powerball which was introduced in March of 2004 with Rep.
